Below is a brief summary of our guarantees for our playground equipment.

Wooden Playground Equipment

All timber used on our wooden playground equipment, outdoor classrooms and school shelters conforms to the following specifications:

We select first grade timber from sustainable commercial plantations. At least 70% is sourced from forests independently certified under the Forest Stewardship Council.

Timbers are cut free of the heart of the log and square sawn with chamfered edges. We do not use round timber as it is more likely to split when drying which can create finger traps.  All of our wooden playground equipment also has securing end caps to protect the timber from moisture absorption.

All Timber on wooden playground equipment, outdoor classrooms and school shelters is guaranteed for 20 years against structural failure caused by rot or insect infestation.

Steel Components & Equipment

All steel components used on our school play Ground Equipment and Outdoor Gym ranges are hot dip galvanised or shot blasted.  The Outdoor Gym range is hot dip galvanised and powder coated for additional protection.   All steel components are guaranteed for 5 years.

Safer Surfacing / Playground Surfacing

All of our playground safety surfacing including TigerMulch, Wetpour and Playsafe come with a 5 year guarantee. (This does not include damage caused by vehicular movement and normal wear and tear).

Platforms, floors and footholds – 5 years against structural failure.*

Chains, Couplings Links and Shackles -5 years against structural failure.

Ropes, Nets, Rope Bridges and Rope Pulls -3 years against structural failure.

Bolts & Security Fastenings- 10 years against structural failure.

Springs- 5 Years against structural failure.
