An impact attenuating synthetic surface that has been specially developed for playground surfacing.
• Playsafe is a synthetic playground surface that has been tested for compliance with BSEN1177 (playground surfacing)and can be used either to combat soil erosion or as an impact attenuating surface laid on concrete or tarmac for low level playground equipment with a fall height up to 600mm.
• The addition of impact absorbing material enables it to be used as a safer surfacing for outdoor play equipment with fall heights in excess of 600mm.
• Play Safe is available in a number of vibrant colours. A variety of design features can be included as inserts resulting in Playsafe providing additional play or educational facilities as well as the primary surfacing function.
• Playsafe has been designed for outdoor playground use and is a highly durable product, which requires little or no maintenance. It is durable in all weathers and meets the flammability requirements of EN1177 - a fully installed surface will not support burning.
• The surface is softer than a comparable rubber product and falls and slips are less likely to result in friction burns making it an ideal outdoor playground surface particularly
for nurseries.
• Playsafe is not as heavy as comparable rubber safety surfaces and can often be installed directly on to grass or topsoil without the need for expensive base works resulting in a considerable cost saving.
• Playsafe comes with a five year guarantee normal wear and tear excluded.
• Playsafe is not suitable for all applications and we will be pleased to give impartial advice as to the best surfacing solution for you.
